Northerns footballers get back in action

The 2015 football season is approaching and Benoni Football Club’s senior teams are gearing up for competitive action.

The seniors have commenced with training on Tuesdays and Thursday at 6.30pm and Sundays at 9am under new first team coach Jannie van den Berg.

Northerns will also play in the ELFA Super 8 pre-season tournament and are drawn in a group with Highlands, Lions United and BCC.

The first team will play their first match of the tournament at home to BCC on Saturday, February 7 at 3pm.

Meanwhile, registration for junior football players will take place on Saturday, February 28, Saturday, March 7 and Saturday, March 14 from 9am to 2pm in the ladies bar at the club.
