BNCC prepare for new campaign

As a precursor to the season, these are a few important dates and notices for players:

• The official first matches are scheduled to start on the weekend of October 17, with the final games for the first half of the season being played on the weekend of November 28.
• Club trials for junior team selections will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 7 and 8.
• This season the club has limited the total number of teams across the age groups to 10, made up as follows: two u-8 teams, three u-10 teams, three u-12 teams and two u-14 teams (u-14 teams are entered for the first half of the season only). Preference will be given to players who have previously played and represented Benoni Northerns.
• Registrations will take place online (through www.bncricket.co.za).

Junior team trials will take place at the Benoni Northerns nets as follows:

1. Saturday, September 6: u-12 teams from 9am to 11.30am and u-14 teams from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
2. Sunday, September 7: u-8 teams from 9am to 11am and u-10 teams from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
