Stix and Stones supports cerebral palsy

The children of the Paige Project enjoyed a fun day of golf arranged by Stix and Stones Junior Golf, at the Benoni Country Club, recently.

Stix and Stones Junior Golf, in conjunction with Benoni Country Club, hosted a fun golf day for 18 cerebral palsied children from the Paige Project Charity Group, alongside 18 of their junior students, recently.

The objective of the day was to create more awareness of cerebral palsy and the challenges experienced by the children, as well as giving the youngsters an opportunity to experience a golf-orientated outing, with varied golf activities, at the Benoni Country Club, including a golf trick shot show by Michael Scholtz.

The Paige Project is a charity organisation whose main objectives are to raise funds to benefit disadvantaged children living with physical and mental disabilities (primarily caused by cerebral palsy), by supplying them, their families, care facilities or social workers with equipment or training courses to assist in the child’s development and enabling the child to live as close to normal life as possible.
