Tigers take on wise old heads
To warm things up ahead of their Guinness World Record attempt for the longest marathon playing indoor cricket, that will take place on Saturday, September 20, into Sunday, September 21, the Benoni Tigers Action Cricket team will play some well-known faces in the sport at the Benoni Action Arena, tonight (Thursday) at 7.45pm.
They will square up against current South African Action Cricket coach Shawn Schaper — who is also the most capped player in the world in the sport — and former South African players Grant Wilson, Jacque Painter, Theo Blake, Johan Nel and Dino Beredeli.
Spectators and interested parties are welcome to attend.
- The current South African women’s open Action Cricket team will play a few exhibition games at the record attempt.
