Porsche Taycan’s roof box offers more space
The roof box can withstand speeds of up to 200 km/h.
Buyers of the Porsche Taycan can now further expand the luggage space, thanks to the newly introduced Tequipment Performance roof box.
According to Porsche, the roof box went through all the engineering processes that the brand gives its cars such as testing the roof box in the wind tunnel.
The roof box can withstand speeds of up to 200 km/h.
“On its way to series maturity, it was driven on test tracks for several thousand kilometres as part of overall vehicle testing,” said Jochen Schmid, director of Tequipment at Porsche.
Shaped like a teardrop, the roof box is fitted with a silver Porsche logo at the rear while the side blades are painted in high-gloss black, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Carrara White Metallic, and Volcano Grey Metallic. However, buyers can paint them with whatever colour they want.
Its capacity is measured at 480-litres and can hold up o 75 kg worth of weight.
