I recently collected my takeaway at a local restaurant when I heard one of the customers question the waiter about the hygiene aspect of the restaurant.

While I understand the rather pressing concern for safety, why go to a restaurant if you are concerned sir?

Stay at home, have a home-cooked meal, order take outs, call and collect or have it delivered to you.

I am sure the staff members are pretty nervous about this too, but everyone needs their jobs.

Please be considerate of the next person. It is okay to question the state of hygiene but not to the point to make someone feel like they need to encourage you to sit there.

We are all in a pandemic together, the only way out is by helping the other. So be kind, it really does not hurt to be nice to someone.
