Action must be taken before somebody dies on Fifth Avenue

The municipality must come to the party.

Cheryl Potgieter writes:

I travel to work from Boksburg to Benoni daily down Fifth Avenue.

The pedestrian crossing in Fifth Avenue, outside Wordsworth High School, cannot be seen anymore.

We have often seen children almost being run over because this crossing is not clearly visible.

The crossing is in a very bad place as it is.

Please, this needs to be investigated before a child is run over.

Editor’s note:

The City Times has brought the matter to the attention of the municipality.
