What a beautiful sight at Homestead

I need to let members of the public know what a wonderful place we have in Benoni.

It was early morning when I observed bird life at Homestead Dam.

And what did I see… a sub-adult fish eagle giving out its eerie call from the trees surrounding Arrow Park.

It was obviously looking for its mate.

We have an awesome tract of land to look after, right in our midst.

The pleasure of spotting these beautiful creatures is best done in the early morning when the sun is still rising.

Please let us conserve what we have right under our noses.
