Officers go beyond the call

On March 23 I was involved in a car accident.

Anyone involved in an accident will know that it is one of the worst things to experience.

I was, however, fortunate that two EMPD K9 unit officers had witnessed the accident.

They pulled over to the side of the road and helped me and the other woman involved in whatever way they possibly could.

They were even willing to give me a lift home.

I am truly grateful that they were there to help me and I want to thank Andries Strydom and Juan Strauss for their assistance.
