Roads desperately need repair

J D Broom writes:

I write to you in the hope that you may be able to help me.

The roads around my house in Spruce Street, Northmead Extension Four, are in need of repair.

The municipality repairs water leaks, but does not repair the holes.

In my travels I see workers repairing other holes; I have asked if they would fix the ones around my house.

I was totally ignored.

I have also tried to contact Jacques Meiring on his mobile number without any success.

So I am now appealing to the Benoni City Times to intervene on my behalf to see if we can get these roads fixed.

The corners with deep holes are:

• Corner of Jasmyn and Beech streets

• Corner of Beech and Varing streets

• Corner of Spruce and Varing streets

• In Spruce Street outside the church entrance

Editor’s note:

The letter has been sent to Clr Jacques Meiring.
