Why should our children have to travel kilometres just to get a university education?
With the rising cost of fuel, transport and accommodation one would think that a university in Ekurhuleni would be a top priority to the powers that be.
I have recently heard of a proposal to extend the Vaal University Technical Campus to Brakpan; what a wonderful idea.
Parents, future students just think what this would mean to you!
Let’s unite and bring pressure to bear on the Ekurhuleni metro to act to the benefit of all on the East Rand instead of our families spending fortunes to get their children to universities far away.
Ekurhuleni metro, just think how proud we’d be to have our own university on our doorstep.
