Why so many injured?

With reference to your front page article about the accident on the corner of Great North Road and Webb Street which happened on March 6, if not for the seriousness of those injured and damage to vehicles, one could imagine the story to be a joke.

One could also ask how many people it takes to change a light bulb.

Police spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele last week said that a case of reckless and negligent driving was opened and that the matter is under investigation.
