Regarding the lost photos I wrote about in last week’s letter, headlined: “Photos go missing”, I would sincerely like to thank Vincent Ditshego of the Benoni Driving Testing Centre for the efficient, courteous and professional manner in which he dealt with my complaint.

New photographs were taken, my application for renewal processed and a temporary driver’s licence were all issued in the space of 15 minutes after he had apologised profusely on behalf of the department.
Vincent, you are an officer and a gentleman.
