Murders are a graphic reminder that we live in a mortally sick society.
As a resident of Mackenzie Park, allow me through your newspaper, to convey my sincere thanks to Clr Ebrahim Motara.
He was instrumental in intervening and allowing us to restore our crime prevention booms temporarily, for the duration of the festive season.
Motara is a hard-working and conscientious leader who is very close to the vast community he serves.
He is a true public servant and a man of strong beliefs.
He is a passionate and committed councillor who has made a genuine difference to the community at large.
