Lifeline is grateful for support

Debbie Richards, director of LifeLine Ekurhuleni, writes:

On behalf of LifeLine Ekurhuleni and our many beneficiaries, we would like to thank the Benoni City Times for the generous donation of R43 020.94 from the Benoni City Times Buco Rietpan 2016 Golf Day.

Your generous support has gone a long way in assisting us to continue promoting emotional wellness amongst individuals and communities across Ekurhuleni, by ensuring that our counselling services remain open and available to those who in distress, for the next four to six months.

Each year, LifeLine Ekurhuleni continues to advance its vision of providing opportunities and skills for the healing and transformation of individuals and communities.

Through our diverse programmes, focused on providing free 24-hour counselling, support to victims of gender-based violence and the protection of vulnerable children, we have seen many lives changed for the better.

The goal of LifeLine Ekurhuleni is to continue to make a difference in the daily lives of community members and to break the cycle of gender-based violence and child abuse.

With the help of donations from supporters such as you, we will continue to see great strides in our endeavours.

Thank you, once again, for your generous support of our efforts in addressing the needs of our community.
