Conserve the trees

I say that the prime function of a golf course is that it is a “green lung”.

Abundance of trees, whether street trees, trees in your garden or in parks on golf courses, should be protected and added to.

Gauteng is a highly polluted area.

Cities in India are embarking on growing campaigns to combat the massive pollution problems they are suffering.

We should follow suit to combat climate change and pollution and encourage our council in this endeavour.

Let us plant more street trees and protect the ones we have.

The remaining trees in Pretoria Road should be protected and valued.

There are lovely houses in Pretoria Road and businesses opening on that road should be encouraged to be in harmony with the gardens and leafy environment and should not be removed.
