I would like to give a big thank you to all the personnel from Pug Rescue and the Gauteng Community State Veterinarians for their hard work, professionalism and care shown towards all the people and their pets during the Steri-Campaign, which was held on July 22 and 23.

Thank you for all the coffee and tea and to all who sponsored the delicious sandwiches and muffins, which helped with passing the time and nerves.

Everyone made it a wonderful day and we do appreciate everyone who was involved during these two days.

Pug Rescue has a wonderful layout for people and their pets; my son and I will definitely volunteer to help out there and interact with the pets. For my son it will be a lovely outing and a good learning experience.

To be able to care for something is a good step towards humanity.
