We can make a difference to someone’s life every week, by doing something so simple.
Each week, we put out our rubbish for collection.
Each week there are teams of people who come round with their bags to scratch through our bins to collect the paper and plastic.
If each one of us just separated this into separate bags for them, it would make their lives so much easier and they would not have to dig through our dirty bags.
It’s how they make a living, surely we can help a bit?
My heart goes out to these people and I beg you: help them out.
It only takes a minute to put the items in other bags.
A plus, too, is that your bags won’t be damaged in the process.
The smile on their faces when you hand them these bags is so worthwhile.
