I am writing to the Benoni City Times as I am really fed up with the “service delivery” — what service delivery? — in Benoni. I live in Northmead Extension Four.
In one month I have received complaints from numbers 19, 25, 27 and 29 in my street, in connection with their Ekurhuleni accounts.
If you try to phone on 999-6503 to 999-6506 there is just no answer to any of those numbers.
I work for Ekurhuleni but not in the accounts department, so the people whose house numbers I mentioned above ask me to please give them clarity on their account queries.
I have had enough of the phone calls I receive during working hours, as well as in the evenings, regarding people’s accounts.
I can phone internally, but with no joy either; no one answers the extension numbers.
Between the accounts and the dirty roads in Benoni I would love to know who is actually working in Ekurhuleni.
More than 56 divisional heads have been appointed this year — what are they employed to do?
Seems so many telephone numbers are just not answered.
If I have had enough I don’t want to know the frustration the public are experiencing.
It looks like the more employees who are employed the worse the services are.
