How do you feel about e-toll proceeding?

Locals say how they feel about e-toll proceeding?

Gerrie Gerber, Benoni: “I have a tag. I feel sorry for those who it affects badly, but think it might help with flow of traffic as we won’t have to stop at tolls in Gauteng.”
Carel Louw, Brakpan: “I am against it. I am not going to pay e-toll. I will get a false number plate and everything if needed. We already pay ourselves to death on taxes.”
José de Carvalho, Alberton: “I suppose they’ve got no other way to rob us. It’s the courts and tax money wasted. If they implement it, side-roads will get clogged up.”
Sharyn Mcintyre, Farrarmere: “I will get an e-toll tag, because I am self-employed and will have to travel the highway to go see my clients. However, I do not like it.”
Nathaniel Gope, Actonville: “I use my legs a lot. This system actually started in America and it works there, but it won’t in South Africa because we have too much traffic.”
Marie Bezuidenhout, Benoni: “I am just a bit concerned about my family who have to travel the highway every day. They will have to fit it into their budgets.”
