Protect us from humanised pooches

Peter Bachtis writes by email:

Please will some sage human out there help me?

I own a restaurant and occasionally I am confronted by customers who insist on bringing their darling canines to the restaurant.

I, personally, believe that darling pooches should be left at home licking a meaty bone, or their nether regions… there is nothing like a well groomed pet, you know.

So, I politely decline and am usually confronted with disappointment and often anger.

Am I wrong in not allowing these darlings into my establishment, or did God create these wonderful creatures to sleep in our beds, sit with us at our dinner table and socialise with us in public places?

I think not, but perhaps I am wrong.

Please oh sage ones out there, your comments please.
