NOTIFICATION OF APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF ATMOSPHERIC EMISSION LICENCE FOR MANDINI WEALTH (PTY) LTD, ALRODE Notice is given in terms of Section 38(3) in the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act, (Act No. 39 of 2004, as amended) (NEMAQA) to all interested and affected parties (I&APs) that Mandini Wealth (Pty) Ltd has applied for an Atmospheric Emission Licence (AEL) renewal for its operations at 14 Jurie Street, Alrode, Alberton.
In terms of Section 22 of NEMAQA, an Atmospheric Emission Licence, or a Provisional Atmospheric Emissions Licence, is required to conduct an activity listed in terms of Section 21. The facility currently holds an Atmospheric Emissions Licence (14/1/117/8/MANDINI GREEN ENERGY/174/ALBERTON/ALB) for the following listed activities: `Subcategory 3.4: Char, Charcoal and Carbon Black Production; Subcategory 4.21: Metal Recovery; and, Subcategory 8.1: Thermal Treatment of General and Hazardous Waste` for the pyrolysis of used tyres, and other rubber materials, to produce organic, char, and other products.
