* Nordic Walk, a first for Gauteng, 10:00, Korsman Bird Sanctuary. Nordic walking is the summer training sport for cross-country skiers and is one of the most effective cross-training techniques for athletes and sportspeople. The poles are aimed for trial runners and serious hikers, to support the elevation and decline involved with rough terrain and enhance the ultimate cardiovascular endurance conditioning.
