Enhle Mdakane crowned Miss Eco Teen South Africa 2023

The 14-year-old will compete in the Miss Eco Teen International pageant competition in October.

Enhle Mdakane (14) is heading to Egypt in October to represent South Africa after winning Miss Eco Teen South Africa on June 10 at the State Theatre in Pretoria.

She will compete in the Miss Eco Teen International pageant competition.

The Grade nine learner from Ashbury College has been running campaigns giving back to the community in preparation for this prestigious event.

She recently donated jackets, beanies, and winter socks to 70 children to help keep them warm during this winter period.

Enhle Mdakane was crowned Miss Eco Teen South Africa on June 10 at the State Theatre in Pretoria.

The 14-year-old also sponsored a matric dance to a lucky matric learner.

Enhle believes that a matric dance is a big day for every girl.

“Some people cannot afford to dress up and look glamorous, so I made a difference in someone’s life, even just for one night,” Enhle said.

Her mother, Landi Khumalo, said she was proud of her child’s achievements.

“I wish her all the best in Egypt. May she fly the South African flag and bring back the Miss Eco Teen International title,” said Khumalo.
