Action aplenty at GETA
Despite some cloud cover and wind from Benoni Lake, the tournament saw players from Parys, Delmas and Vanderbijlpark.
Hundreds of tennis enthusiasts braved the cold snap on July 15 to participate in the Wilson and Planet Fitness tennis tournament at the Gauteng East Tennis Association (GETA) complex in Lakefield.
Despite some cloud cover and wind from Benoni Lake, the day saw players from Parys, Delmas and Vanderbijlpark competing.
The fans were treated to beginners playing red-ball singles matches and hard-ball doubles. The play on the facility’s 16 courts was entertaining.
