LETTER: Our town is indeed sorrowful

Send your Letter to the Editor to benonicitytimes@caxton.co.za.

Jenny Eve, Benoni, writes:

Never more apt is the meaning of Benoni – Son of my Sorrow.

Refuse not collected. Where is the credit?

Load-shedding, yet prices continue to rise for an unstable commodity.

Every road in Benoni has potholes. What are our rates and taxes used for?

No meter readers and we are expected to read our own or put up with interim readings.

Street signs are rusted, broken or non-existent.

Benoni is in a sorry state and hardly worth the privilege of being called a city.
