Residents of Northmead and surrounding areas are informed of a power supply interruption due to emergency maintenance work.
According to the City of Ekurhuleni spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, the intervention is being carried out to improve the electricity infrastructure and also beef up the quality and sustainability of the service in these areas.
“Technicians are on site assessing the situation and the estimated restoration time is 22:00. Customers are urged to treat all electrical networks as live at all times. The city apologises for the inconvenience this may cause.”
