TOP ACHIEVER: Lindiwe Sepamla obtained seven distinctions (English, mathematics, Afrikaans, accounting, physical science, CAT and life orientation). She's also in the top 1% for CAT. Ashton International College obtained a 100% pass rate in the 2022 IEB matric exams with 93% of learners obtaining bachelor’s passes.
The school achieved a total of 83 distinctions.
Four leaners obtained seven distinctions, three celebrated six while two achieved five.
Principal Lynne Felix said she is proud her learners and wished them well for their future endeavours.
“Across the board in international Grade Six examinations, IGCSE in Grade 10 and IEB and CAIE in matric, Ashtonians have once again achieved outstanding results.
“We applaud our staff, students and parents on their commitment to excellence and their dedication to their studies,” said Felix.
The school’s top four students with seven distinctions each are:
1. Lindiwe Sepamla (top 1% computer applications technology) 86.26%.
2. Henry Fang 85.63%.
3. Muhammed Patel (top 1% life sciences) 83.75%.
4. Marco Geral 83.14%.
