Class of 2022 praised for dedication in the face of adversity

The class of 2022 had to overcome adversity in the face of the global pandemic, yet their hard work and unwavering dedication have led to great success.

These were the words of Dr Eugene Rooyakkers, principal of BHS.

The school achieved a 99.6% pass rate with 201 of its 252 matriculants being awarded bachelor’s passes.

Learners raked in 180 distinctions with Zayanah Laher and Lucy Brown walking away as the top achievers, each attaining eight distinctions.

“The success of this class is dedicated to their perseverance as well as the support from the faculty and parents,” said Rooyakkers.

“We wish these learners well on their future conquests.”
