Benoni SPCA educates community about animal welfare

The society works towards improving the lives of animals

Promoting responsible animal ownership in the communities, the Benoni SPCA recently reached out to small scale farmers at Mokgoba village in Etwatwa.

The visitation formed part of the societies pro-active education initiatives which seeks to educate the community about animal welfare.

According to the Benoni SPCA manager, Darryn Potgieter, their main goal is to reach out to all animals in the areas they cover to make sure that they are well looked after by their owners.

“We will continue to spread awareness of animal welfare in the areas that we cover to make sure we educate owners so that they can make the lives of the animals better and safer,” said Potgieter.
