CPF needs help with festive drive
Spread some festive cheer by donating to the sector’s sweet drive
The festive season is steadily approaching and the Benoni CPF Sector 2 hopes to host a Santa’s sweet drive as well as deliver gifts to some of the city’s aged.
According to Stephan Lombard, sector PRO, the sweet drive is aimed at the entire sector’s policing area including Northmead, Farrarmere, Goedeburg, Alphen Park, Arrow Park and Airfield.
“We want to spread some joy to our residents and take the time to introduce our patrollers to the community that we serve,” he said.
“We hope to achieve this through the drive and are appealing for donations of individually packed sweets, chips or treats.”
Patrollers further hope to collect items for dignity packs, to be handed out to the aged.
“These packs will hopefully include toiletry necessities and perhaps a pamper item,” he said.
