Are you the next Mr or Miss Benoni?

Entries for this year's event are now open

It is that time of the year again and entries are open for the 44th annual Mr and Miss Benoni pageant, under the theme Fire and Ice.

In the past 23 years, the event has morphed into the prestigious and glamourous pageant as it is currently known.

As the 2021 winners Yakim Junade Ali from Rynfield and Ntokozo Nhlapo from Daveyton prepare to hand over the title on October 16 at the Koponong Hotel and Conference Centre, eligible beauties and dashing gents are invited to enter this year’s competition.

In keeping with tradition, this year’s competition will once again be a non-profit event and all funds raised will be in aid of The Knights Charity Association.

The top three of the prestigious 2021 pageant are Nicole Whittington (second princess), Ntokozo Nhlapo (Miss Benoni) and Katelyn Stuart (first princess).

The NPO mainly assists homes as well as underprivileged children in Benoni and has gotten involved with other once-off projects to assist those in need in need.

As part of this year’s glam-event calendar, organisers and choreographers of the pageant, Rampage Modelling Agency has added a fashion show to the list of events in which contestants will participate.

The fashion show will be held in aid of the Gregg Mitchley Foundation, which was established in 2019.

The foundation aims to link willing donors with projects that answer the plight of children, the youth and the elderly.

The 2021 winners off the Mr Benoni competition are Connor Stuart (first prince), Yakim Junade Ali (Mr Benoni) and Davin Cocker (second prince).
