The body of an unidentified man was found floating in a dam in Wattville on October 19.
The discovery comes after community members stumbled upon the body and notified the police.
Gauteng provincial police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Sello said the police have opened an inquest case while investigations are continuing.
The latest discovery comes after the mutilated body of a child was found in a field in Wattville on October 11.
The child has since been identified as Bokgabo Poo (4), who went missing in the area on October 10 while playing with a friend in Masoleng Park.
