VINEYARD VIBES! CELEBRATE THE SEASON WITH BENONI’S BENVINO SPRING WINE FESTIVAL
Benoni was first in line with a wine festival for the East Rand in June and now, just to brag, we’re doing it again.
Yes, back by popular demand, the BenVino Spring Wine Festival will be overflowing with fun for all on September 14.
Your hosts are none other than Morehill’s very own Val Di Terra ( by Ken Forrester ) tasting room and boutique wine store.
The June 8 event was such as hit, we would be amiss not to repeat the festival.
And, an even better blooming good time awaits because the weather has cheered up, so there’s no excuses to miss this one!
Apart from the first BenVino having been an incredible success with a crowd of 500 wine lovers converging on the venue, Val Di Terra knows East Randers love good wine.
It is our privilege to welcome 25 prestigious wine farms to Benoni – 12 of these being newcomers to our festival.
The wine estates visitors can mingle with and learn bouquet, body, texture and all other good things wine from include Mulderbosch, Mont Rochelle, Springfield, Vergelegen, Rustenburg, Post House and Boekenhoutskloof and, of course, Val Di Terra (by Ken Forrester Wines), among many others.
Be assured there will be no plonk served here!
Also, as the perfect pairing for the day, there will be lekker local performances by Karen Botha and Rewind, jumping castle for the kiddies, street food stalls, beer, gin and champagne on tap and wine-related merchandise on sale.
Val Di Terra ( by Ken Forrester ) is also proud to again be supporting three charities – Pug Rescue (they will present their own brand of wine made by Swartland and have some of their pugs there too), RAW (Recycling for Animal Welfare), Benoni Lakes Lions Club.
