It was a real family affair at the Benoni Wrestling Club’s (BWC) prize-giving on October 31 at Benoryn Family Church in Rynfield.
Families came out in their numbers to watch the club’s 12 wrestlers be awarded for their great results on the mat in various tournaments this year.

One wrestler received an award for participation and service and eight were awarded for participation and encouragement, while three grapplers were recognised for participation.

“This youngster is very helpful, always goes the extra mile by helping to set-up and pack away equipment,” said BWC team manager Sandra Hensley.
