Pleasant surprise for elderly

The group of elderly women went home with blankets and goodie bags.

Batho Bohle, a Mayfield NPO, recently hosted a Tea Talk event that brought together a group of elderly women from the area for a fun-filled day of pampering.

The founder of the NPO, Gugu Shoko, said the heart-warming annual event aimed to honor the wisdom and contributions of elderly people.

Former Big Brother contestant Lerato Modise hands over a lunch pack to one of the elderly people who attended Batho Bohle’s annual event in Mayfield recently.

The event was graced by the presence of former Big Brother contestant Lerato Modise and various inspirational speakers.
