"I’m learning that my room for error is getting smaller as I’m moving up to the highest class.”

Fairleads show jumper Victoria Greyvensteyn said she gained lots of experience during the SA Youth Championships at the Shongweni Club in Durban earlier this month.

She finished tied third in the A2 competition first qualifier with a clean effort in 61.85 seconds. Although she didn’t place in the second qualifier, she was happy with her overall performance, saying she is improving as she moving a class higher.

“Queen performed very well at the SA champs. We placed third in the first qualifier and gained a lot of experience in the second qualifier and championship class,” she said.

“The experience is valuable because I’m learning that my room for error is getting smaller as I’m moving up to the highest class.”
