Crystal Park organisation to host depression awareness campaign
Parents are encouraged to come with their children.
O Woman Rise Up (OWRU), a Crystal Park NPO, invites the public to attend its awareness campaign focusing on depression on June 17.
The event will be held at Crystal Park Primary School Hall from 10:00 to noon.
Members of the South African Depression and Anxiety (SADAG) will address the community on how to identify and deal with depression and anxiety.
Speakers on the day will include Ward 24 Clr Nicola da Silva and many others.
Parents are encouraged to come with their children because of the substantial increase in suicides because of depression.
