School’s anglers impress selectors

The Hoërskool Hans Moore angling team is proving to be a force to be reckoned with as its anglers continue to impress the national selectors.

Three of the school’s anglers made the national angling squad, while some made selections for the SA Schools’ team.

Tihan Eloff, Ricco Strydom and Emile Ras are part of the six-player national angling team, while three girls and seven boys, including Eloff, Strydom and Ras, are in the national schools’ team.

Diane du Plessis, Anke de Beer and Amonè Venter-Nel are in the SA Schools’ girls’ team, while Eugene Roos, Jordan du Plessis, Shanden Mays and Ricko Eloff are the other boys from the school in the team.
