Murphy’s shop has a new home

The cat is out of the hat, Murphy’s charity shop has relocated.

Still situated in Russel Street, Western Extension, The Murphy Cat Project (TMCP) charity shop has nestled into its new home.

Now located at number five, the TMCP shop is filled to the brim with rarities, antiques, books and clothes to soothe the heart of every shopaholic, on a budget.

Funds raised through sales are used to cover care and veterinary costs of the organisation.
For the past 25 years TMCP has been at the forefront of rescuing, spaying, fostering and homing thousands of the city’s stray cat populations.

Whether you are looking for records to add to your vinyl collection, bric-a-brac or other treasured items the shop has it all.

Donations towards the shop’s stocks are always welcome and collection can be arranged.

Operating hours are Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 15:00.

For more information contact Derek Morris on 082 880 5571.
