SAPS training advert is false and misleading

Adverts circulating on social media platforms, advertising SAPS reservist programmes, are false and misleading.

This is according to Warrant Officer Grant Giblin, spokesperson for the Benoni Flying Squad (BFS).

“We want to make it clear that the information contained on the mentioned website is inaccurate,” he said.

“Such dissemination of misinformation is not only irresponsible but also undermines the integrity of the SAPS, potentially damaging its reputation.”

Giblin clarified that recruitment opportunities within the police services are advertised on the SAPS official website and those interested are urged to log on to www.saps.gov.za.
