Arbor Primary School wins Clean Projects’ schools mural competition

Winners received amazing prizes from various sponsors.

Arbor Primary School have been crowned champions of murals.

The school bagged 1 437 votes for their impeccable artwork that’s on display at Wordsworth High School’s bland white wall in Great North Road.

Eighteen primary and high schools in Benoni transformed the bland white wall into a splash of artistic expression during Clean Projects’ schools mural competition on October 28.

Pictures of all the paintings were posted on Facebook and Instagram for the public to vote for their favourite interactive murals to boost their chances of winning amazing prizes.

First place: Arbor Primary School (R5 000 from Hammond Pole Attorneys)
Second place: Farramere Primary School (R3 500 from Country Kids)
Third place: Ridgewood College Junior Preparatory (R3 000 from Oracle Training Consultancy)
Fourth place: Tom Newby School (R2 000 voucher from My China Discount Store)
Fifth place: Country Kids Pre-School
Sixth place: Rynfield Primary School
Seventh place: Wordsworth High School
Eighth place: Art Alive Art School
Ninth place: Benoni Nursery School
Tenth place: St Dunstan’s Preparatory School
