Seniors tee-off for good cause

“We collected food, clothing and baby products for Kuselo in Boksburg and dropped it off at their premises.”

Dressed up in red and white the Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf (ESWG) members graced the greens of the Benoni Lake Club on November 15 for their year-end round and lunch.

Nannette Kuhloff, Ok Sil Kim, Angelika Brandner and Elaine Venter won the monthly competition as the quartet scored 98 points to walk away with the honours.

The team of Lorraine Cross, Hindy Belstead, Leilani van der Merwe and Wilanda Mostert were runners-up on 96 points.

The team of Nanette Kuhloff, Ok Sil Kim, Elaine Venter and Angelika Brandner won the monthly competition.

According to the ESWG president, Charmaine Stone, 98 ladies took to the green to contest for top honours in the organisation’s last competition of the year.

“A well-supported day with a full field. Our ladies came out in their green and red festive colours.”

Stone said the tournament also served as a fundraiser for the Boksburg organisation, Kuselo.

“We collected food, clothing and baby products for Kuselo in Boksburg and dropped them off at their premises,” she said.
