Public invited to Know Your Money Workshop on October 23

The South African Reserve Bank, in collaboration with the Benoni CPF, will host the Know Your Money Workshop on October 23 at Lakeside Mall, Boat Deck. The workshop will start at 10:30, for 11:00.

They invited the public to this informative workshop on the upgraded currency to enhance their ability to identify a genuine banknote.

Workshop highlights
• Upgraded banknotes and coins

• Reproduction of currency images

• Handling of counterfeit notes

• Dyed-stained notes

• R200 banknote challenge

Who should attend?
This workshop is open to all businesspeople who handle cash daily. Various sectors, including retailers, restaurants and other businesses, are encouraged to attend.
