WIN: Two tickets up for grabs to Hospice East Rand’s Candles Celebration with Jesse Clegg

The year is steadily winding up, with the race to the festive season kicking into high gear.

Do you need a moment to sit back and reflect on the year?

Do you want to honour your loved ones who added joy to your life? Or do perhaps you need a moment to pay tribute to those with life-limiting diseases or who have lost the battle?

Two lucky readers can win double tickets to Hospice East Rand’s annual Candles Celebration, valued at R160, on October 14.

The event will be at St Dunstan’s EJ Butler Centre from 17:00 to 20:00, with a performance by Jesse Clegg, the son of the legendary Johnny Clegg.

Those in attendance can also look forward to a transformational talk by Nicky Dickson, a narrative therapist and co-creator at the Institute for Creative Conversation, which promises to pull at your heartstrings and leave you with a renewed appreciation for life’s journey.

Other performances will include the Benoni Pipe Band and other local talent.

Entries will close on October 6 at noon.

We will notify the winners telephonically. The prize only covers entry into the event. As such, the winners are responsible for their own food and beverages.

Various vendors will sell food, and picnic baskets are welcome.
