Dealership celebrates 30 years
The award winning dealership thanks its clients for their loyal support.
Established in a warehouse in Prince’s Avenue, Benoni Citi VW opened its doors for business on September 20, 1994.
In December of the same year, the dealership moved to its current location on Main Reef Road.
Three decades later the dealership, continues to provide quality service and sales of one of the country’s best-loved automobile brands.
For the past two years Chantel Channer, dealer principal, has been at the steering wheel of operations and chalks the dealership’s ongoing success to the team of dedicated staff who strive to offer its customers exceptional quality service.
Channer started her journey at the outlet as a switchboard operator, steadily climbing the ladder to become a warranty clerk in the service department.
“During my 22 years of service, I have seen how our brand has evolved to accommodate the needs and desires of our clients,” she said.
“As five-time recipient of the dealer of the year award as well as an 11-time recipient of the club excellence award, it is a privilege to continue serving our community for so many years. We vow to uphold the quality of service that our clients have grown accustomed to.”
In celebration of its 30th birthday staff indulged in a delectable red velvet cake, with one of its original staff members, Maria Moepi having the honour of taking the first slice.
