Karateka help club to gold in championship
“We are proud of the students. We look forward to the nationals next month.”
The Tenshinkan Karate Club’s Brandon and Krysten Wardill won gold medals during the North Gauteng Championship recently.
The duo came first in their divisions in both kata and kumite.
The club won nine medals – five gold, two bronze and two silvers.
“We are proud of the students. We look forward to the nationals next month,” said sensei Shihan-dai Catherine Venter.
