Masons extend charitable reach

Join the lodge as they raise money for the United Cerebral Palsy Association of South Africa.

Following the success of its golf day in aid of Hospice East Rand and the Avril Elizabeth Home, the Freemasons of the Provincial Grand Lodge of SA Northern Irish Constitution, Boksburg, invite residents to support its second annual Masonic Heritage Festival.

The lodge hosted the golf day at the end of May, which raised R60 000 for the two organisations, with an additional R20 000 raised by Tops High Road.

The lodge will turn its attention to the United Cerebral Palsy Association of South Africa by hosting a fun-filled festival on September 23, at its grounds in Boksburg.

The day promises fun for the entire family, with an array of goods on sale from various local vendors.

A dedicated children’s funfair will ensure the entertainment of the little ones, while Springbok supporters can watch the game.

Want to bask in the fresh spring air? Grab a seat and enjoy the live entertainment, which will include a performance by a pipe band, as well as a masonic parade.

The fun will kick off at 09:00 until late at the Masonic Hall, 66 Jubilee Road, Boksburg South.
