Benoni Child Welfare again open for services

’We will continue to render quality services to those who rely on us.’

Upon receiving news that the Department of Social Development (DSD) has reinstated its funding to NPOs, the Benoni Child Welfare has reopened and will again deliver services to the community.

The organisation’s director, Vanessa Carlese, confirmed that although they had not received their funding, their offices in Northmead will be provisionally open from Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00.

“We expect the pay-outs to be allocated towards the end of the month,” she said.

“Once received, services will return to the usual operating hours. We appreciate the community’s support and patience during these uncertain times.”
