Chaplains honoured for helping blast victims

Offering counselling to victims, families as well as first responders, the chaplains have offered invaluable support to the Plantation community at large.

As news broke on December 24, last year, of the tragic gas tanker explosion in Boksburg, members of Chaplains on Board Initiative (COBI), of Rynfield, jumped into action to provide much needed support to those affected by the blast.

During their ordination ceremony, on February 19, members of The Humanity Foundation (HF) took the time to give thanks to these selfless individuals for their tireless efforts over the past six weeks.
